Nobody pays for KITE, and nobody earns money from it.
No advertising.
Guests at the seminars come as individuals, without sponsor logos.
We read without names.
In the selection, what counts is what you write, not who you are.
In the tandem
Your first meeting is in a public place.
On campus, in the Mensa or in a café. After that, you decide yourselves how often and where you meet.
You meet as equals.
Even if one of you is a few semesters ahead. You look out for each other and respect boundaries.
What you talk about stays between you.
Unless someone is in danger.
If it does not work out, that is okay.
Either of you can end the tandem at any time, without giving a reason. Just let us know.
As a mentor
You are the person to talk to.
No tutoring and no therapy. If it is about more than studying, you refer them to the services listed below.
The applications stay with you.
You only use them to choose your favourites and do not contact anyone before the matching.
Mentee under 18?
Then it is coffee instead of beer.
If something is wrong
Let us know. You do not have to sort it out alone.
We listen to both sides and take care of it.
